Membership

While many golf clubs fixate on increased publicity, rounds played or televised championships, Portland Golf Club’s membership cap of 525 full golfing members ensures that our primary focus on is on our Members’ golf and Club experiences.

This level of exclusivity provides easy access to the golf course, for example, with every-other tee-time left open for walk-ons. The Club’s Board and Committee system, run by Members, are vigilant about maintaining a healthy balance of exclusive access, financial efficiency, and long term vibrancy.

Regular Membership

This is a proprietary membership that provides full club privileges to Members, their Spouse and immediate family members through their college years. This membership level provides year-round access to the golf and practice facilities as well as all clubhouse amenities, such as social events and full access to the pool and tennis courts.

Because Portland Golf Club is member-owned, and not owned or controlled by a 3rd-party corporation, Regular Members become equity owners of the Club.

Social Membership

This membership level offers full access to the clubhouse, dining, pool, racquet sports, and social functions,  the seasonal Junior Golf program, plus limited golf for the Social Member and their spouse/significant other.

Some members find this an excellent entry-point to the Club, and conversely, Members whose golf interests are declining find that transitioning from Regular to Social Membership is a great way to stay connected to the Club with a lesser financial commitment.
