Junior Golf - Portland Golf Club

We believe golf is a game for a lifetime and the PGC Junior Golf Program is one of our top traditions.

From age four through High School, PGC offers age and skill-level programming to provide a fun experience. Children are coached on their swing, the game, the rules, etiquette, and attitude management.

Our Pros provide the highest quality group and private instruction, and they are fantastic at balancing their points of focus to help kids gain confidence and enjoy themselves; on occasion, to help kids stay engaged, they create games within the game, such as water balloon golf!

Most kids ultimately look back and reflect on the fun they had at Junior Golf

While some kids go on to competitive experiences in high school, college, and professionally, our goal is to instill a love for the game with each unique Junior, whether they aspire to compete or simply play golf socially!

Beyond PGC's proven and well-structured Junior Golf program, many kids continue playing golf year-round on their own or with their friends and family through their college years, after which they may apply to become an Intermediate, Social, or Regular member.
